Hey, since I plugged in gtx 1070 black edition with ACX3.0 my computer was shutting down randomly, it could happen right after booting up and opening a game or it could happen after hours of playing. I've just discovered there is some issue with memory overheating and new bios. I'm not running on my old gtx 660 Ti without any problems. Should I try to put 1070 back in and install new bios update?
Max temperature on 1070 was around 74-76 degrees but I don't know if it's memory could be overheating or is it just faulty GPU? I already contacted EVGA technical support few days back but still no answer.
Thanks for your help.

What is the make and model of your power supply?

This is my PSU.

I'm now running on my old GTX 660Ti and no crashes since then. What you guys think? Is it worth trying updating bios or is 1070 most likely faulty? I will probably call EVGA tommorow because I'm still waiting for answer from them and I've contacted their support last Wednesday.

There was nothing after "This is my PSU."

The reason I am asking questions about your PSU is that the majority of the time, the issue you are having maps directly back to an old or sub-par PSU.  PSUs can go bad...and newer generation hardware always tends to make a borderline PSU show its warts.

Also - do you have a manual overclock on your video card?

PSU is not older than 1 year. I don't have a manual overclock because I have no idea how to do that :D
