I just spent whoopers of cash on a evga system, Motherboard Classified, 2 x 1080 Classifieds, EVGA case, Power Supply... ect....  and when "all is said and installed " one of the first programs i tried to use was Precision XOC latest after lastest version on a windows 10 pro system. and the same result.... run as administrator, to install and run,  program shows up for fifteen seconds and crashes,  I do not get IT???  I have spent years dealing with EVGA and never a problem as such.  rant over
What am I missing....  results from this forum say i should run a competitors software my multi thousand dollar hardware... what am i missing?
Point me a direction.

I've installed and uninstalled
Multiple Drivers and precision x installs
updated win10
Thanks in advance for a direction

The fact is though EVGA makes some great hardware their software really sucks. MSI Afterburner is way more stable than precision X and it will work great with your system, in fact Afterburner works with any nvidia card. Even K boost works better than in precision X. I love EVGA products but precision X is not even a decent piece of software. FYI I also have a multi thousand dollar system, but it does not mean that faulty software will work.......

These issues have been going on since windows 7. I know this because when I first tried Precision X like 3 years ago I was on windows 7. MSI Afterburner has not let me down since.

Well all I can say is have installed this software since 2012 on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012R2 and yet had an issue installing and using EVGA Precision Software.
This is on Dell Servers, Workstations, Desktop, ASUS Motherboards, MSI Motherboards, EVGA Motherboards all running Intel Processors.
Being that you also had issues on Windows 7 maybe your OS Install is missing something or you are forgetting to do something.
Not say that this is your issue only pointing it out as that it could be part of your issue.

You are actually one of the lucky few that has never had a real problem with precision X. How far do you boost the cards you have owned to and have you ever used K boost and not had an issue?
I doubt it has anything to do with my system or my setup (this is the second system I have tried precision X on and it worked at first then I started to have some weird issues that I do not recall what they were. Precision X is also well noted for its instability. I am a member of a few different forums that do OCing and a great majority on these forums that has an nvidia graphics card uses Afterburner. In fact on one forum that does custom bios it is always recommended you use either Afterburner or the nvidia inspector. Afterburner is recommended more because you can really mess things up in the nvidia inspector, but there is a lot more you can do in that program so it is most definitely not for beginners.

I have a few Hall of Fame over on *Sorry Never was big on K-Boost you can see my scores listed under bcavnaugh
Same user name here as well http://www.modsrigs.com/topRating.aspx You can do a Search on my rigs here Link
I am also not an Extreme Gamer or at Benchmarking I doing it for the fun mostly.
I have used MSI AB and ASUS Overclocking tool as well and did not care to use them, even though they may be better than what EVGA has to offer.
The reason I posted what I did is because their are 4 of 5 Threads the provide the answers to what the OP is asking about and you as well. Their are also ones for EVGA's other tools that have fixes posted in the Threads.
Best of luck getting the tools that you need working and if it MSI AB that is fine as we do have a lot of MSI AB users here as well.

Yes, you do.  In fact, it appears that they had to enlarge the Hall just for you.

This really is not helping, my intent was not to be bragging but that I do play around.
If Members would review some of the Treads that we now have they will get the answer they are asking for.
We repeat the same question and post the answer over and over and still Members post the same questions.
