My 1300 G2 started giving out on me and I was wondering what I have to send back.

Does it just have to be the PSU itself or do the cables have to go with it as well? And does it need to be in the original box?

Hello tucker147,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your EVGA power supply.  Should you need to start an RMA request to replace it,  we would only require the power supply unit itself to be sent back to us.  You would keep the cables, power cable, and any accessories that came with it.  Also, we do not need the original retail box when you send it back.  Via the RMA process you will receive emails with details on how to package up your power supply and how to send it to us.

I've gone ahead and notated your account in order for you to submit an RMA request if you need to.  Please do the following:
1.  From our site, Log into your account,
2.  Mouse over "Member,"
3.  Click on "My Products"
4.  Find the product on the page and click "View Details"
5.  Click on the "Submit New RMA" button,

Fill out the RMA request, once approved within 24 hrs you will receive a follow up email with the details I mentioned above.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our 24/7 Technical Support team via phone:  888.881.3842 or email:  support@evga.com

Is it possible to cancel an RMA? I haven't shipped the PSU yet.

I did some more through testing and the problem I was experiencing was because of a defective motherboard rather than the PSU.
