Alright so
I already ordered "48" hours ago my pads and still waiting for approval
With that being said I have my 1080 ACX 3.0 overclocked +180 core +500 memory with a decent boost

Question is: With this pads/ vram overheating chaos should I put down the memory overclock? or all overclock in general " Im using an aggresive fan curve ( if temp= 60 then fan speed=100%]

I use a hupercloyd headset and dont care about noise altho is pretty silent

PS: I went EVGA because quality components and reputation and this is just deplorable tbh

Thanks in advance

Relentlessly
mm only way to be sure for me was to visually check the VRAM pads through the sides of the card use a camera with zoom and bright light.
So the ones facing me whilst installed were def making really good contact the pads were squished down. I also have bought x2 cheap temp probes with a digital display and front 3.5" mounting tray.

I have attached the probe by tucking it under the top left of the V of EVGA and the temp after running Heaven and Battlefront @ 8k max settings for hour showed the temp probe @ 63°C and the GPU around 67-8°C. My fan curve also aggressive not as much as yours but it peaked at 2095-2150 running this.

So I guess I'm saying to do a little testing whilst waiting for the pads. I intend to attach the probes to the back plate more permanently next week a small thermal pad I bought from Ebay.

Nozler
I'd say no to over voltage at this point and jst oc with out it. Just leave the juice alone and see where your card ends up. Frankly I have never seen enough fps increase to warrant oc vs stability. Now the cpu is another matter :/
