I have two identical cards in the same system.

I would like to dedicate 1 card to running folding @ home, and use the other card to drive 3 displays in surround.

When I have two different cards in the system, I can simply enable surround on the one card, and fold in the other.

When I have two of the same cards, I only get the option in the NVIDIA control panel to enable surround in SLI mode.  I don't want to SLI.

Currently, I am running in SLI and can fold on both cards.  However, if I turn off folding on one card and try to play games, I get stutter as the other SLI card is occupied folding.  My only choice is to turn off folding on both cards for gaming (and I don't need SLI to drive my resolutions.)

Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks!

Does having the SLI bridge on or off make any difference?

If I take the SLI bridge off, the option to span displays with surround is greyed out.

The only thing I can do with the SLI bridge off is extend the Windows desktop...can't do surround or bezel correction.

Available if bridge is in place but SLI not enabled?

No - with the bridge in place you only get the option to span displays in surround with SLI.

OK - solved the problem differently...got a 43" 4K UHD display:

The screen on the left is 23" (one of the 3 23" displays I had in surround).

I now totally understand the 4K UHD hype...the NerdGasm I had after I got this setup was quite extraordinary!

One Titan X Pascal drives 4K UHD with no issues...the other Titan X P happily folds away 24/7.
