I think evga should sell the Cooler kit at basically their cost and not for free. This solution would be great and it wouldn't cost them extra money but simply another option for the owners of their 10 series card. That would be reasonable and I dont feel like it's asking too much as the consumers.

They need to be doing more than they are, that's for sure. Mine is registered and affected and they didn't even send me an email. A friend mentioned this or I wouldn't have even heard about it.

Both solutions are optional and not required. There have been maybe a few that failed out of how many sold? And they are all under warranty.

I wouldn't expect a free one. But I wouldn't mind having the option to buy a hybrid kit for cost

Good idea! It would also seriously restore a lot of peoples faith and get their reputation as the leader in customer services back to where it should be.

Not going to happen. A Hybrid kit is only $105 US on Amazon right now. Or simply RMA your card IF something happens; which is highly unlikely.

When Note 7's started catching fire and exploding what did Samsung do? They recalled it and offered a $25 credit to anyone who went with a temporary Samsung device till the replacement Note7s came out. The replacements started catching fire and they got discontinued, what did Samsung do? They offered people a $100 dollar credit to stick with a Samsung device. This is simply the cost of business when a widespread problem occurs. Offering a hybrid kit at 50% off really isn't asking too much lmao.

Samsung a is a multinational, multi-billion dollar business. They can absorb the loss; EVGA simply cannot. Apples and oranges people.

Yeah, expecting stuff like this out of a company is exactly why it doesn't happen more often anyway. They give an inch and then the consumer will constantly push and push and push. I'm not saying they shouldn't do something about, but what they are doing seems perfectly fine to me. It'd suck to be without a gpu while it's being handled, of course. But them fixing the issue is all you could should really ask.
