hi, recently i went on Support (section "Drivers and BIOS") searching for the latest BIOS download for my GTX 1070 but only found the latest DRIVER (and not the BIOS), so i would like to know where new users like me can find bios downloads for evga graphic cards, including bios download history (versions).

Welcome to the Forums...

Here is the only 1070 BIOS rev I'm aware of as of today  >>  http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-1070-BIOS-Update-v8604500070-m2565056.aspx

You usually find them "Stickied" at the top area of the section pertaining to the hardware in question.

It hasn't been released yet as far as I know.  You will see it Stickied at/near the top of this section when it's available I'm sure.

EDIT:  See post #8.  I didn't see it when I looked at first.  >>  http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-10801070-PWM-Operating-Temperature-Update-m2573491.aspx

i have a GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 since october, it's been only one month using playing very demanding games like battlefield 1, gears of war 4, forza horizon 3, the witcher 3... and so far my gpu temperatures never went above 75C (i live in brazil, i don't have air conditioning and lately temperatures in my room are on 24C average).

but since yesterday i started to use precision OC to manualy control fan speeds and now my temps are on the average of 55C playing for hours straight.

should i be worried by that possible temperature problem that is being reported on some series 10 gpus?

From all the video's I've seen where thermal testing was being done, it seems to me that if you have been using a custom fan profile with a more aggressive fan speed while under load, you "should" be fine until you can apply the fixes EVGA is offering.  That being the thermal pads and the new BIOS revision they will be putting out.

Keep in mind that the new BIOS will only help users who are only using the default cooling profile in the BIOS.  A custom fan curve you set up in PrecX or AB will override the default settings anyway.

Here's the link for the thermal issue  >>  http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-10801070-PWM-Operating-Temperature-Update-m2573491.aspx

I didn't see it posted when I looked at first.

You're welcome.

As long as you're running a custom fan curve, I think you'll be fine until you're ready to flash the new Vbios...
