Does anyone know if the X99 Micro 2 will work fine with Ubuntu 16.04

I don't suppose you already have the Micro 2?
 
If you do, you can try the live CD (no installation) to see.
 
For that matter, someone with a Micro 2 could check it out that way if they felt froggy. I've got a X99 Classified or I would tonight.

CPU and Chipset are listed as supported.
Disconnect all your Hard Drives to include any SSD Drives and put in a 8GB or larger thumb Driver and install it and report back.
100% it will work, it worked fine on my EVGA X99 Classified MB.

Thank you so much. I guess it will work on the FTW K. Just have to use intel nic instead of killer.

Yea I heard great things about the board but looking to run it with Ubuntu hopefully evga don't dicountinue it anytime soon lol
