Can anyone identify the parts circle below?  I ask support but the first person told me this wasn't a picture of an EVGA product.  Someone else told me that #2 is the part described in step #9 but looks nothing like that part (it's missing from my kit).  They also claim that #1 are thermal pads even though they are no thicker than ordinary tape.  I've been going back and forth with support for over a day and am nowhere closer to figuring this out.  Thank you.
 

My guess is that the first one is tape that you can use to tape the wires to the shroud. The 2nd one looks like piece thats holding the tubes in place.

One looks like Thermal or Electrical Tape that goes on the Back Plat the sits above the Power Connectors down to the bottom of the card.
I would think it is to stop any kink of short on the Power.
The other or number 2 may lay on the VRM on the Back of the Card between the Card and the Back Plate.

I suppose but neither of those are listed in the instructions anywhere.

I enlarged the image and it looks like 5 separate pieces of sticky-backed foam of some sort.  I don't think it's the rubber piece the hoses go through.

I am not sure what the black piece is. Is it like a foam or something? What's it made of?
 
I just got my kit in and I don't have anything like that. All I have that looks like that is the rubber piece that holds the tubes in place. The tape is just extra for holding down the wires if you want to out of the way of the fan.
 
I'm wondering if it's a piece of foam that broke away from the packaging or something.
 
Regardless, it doesn't look like it would be used in this kit at all. I don't see anywhere where this would be used.

It is foam and sticky-backed and was in a ziplock bag by itself.  It is way too small to hold the tubes.  Besides, that piece is already accounted for.  The tube holder piece is rubber and much larger.

Yeah, you know what... I just checked my kit and I have one too. Nothing in the instructions goes over this piece. I haven't used my kit yet, but I was going to build it up tomorrow night. I'll try to report back if I figure it out. It's a little too late for me to get into it right now. Sorry I can't help right now.
 
Edit: All I can think of in the mean time is that the two "dots" of foam are suppose to serve as vibration dampeners or something. I wonder if someone else has done this kit before and can chime in...
