How does everyone feel about facebook tracking users and non users of facebook around the net. Any website or forums running facebook plugin, they allow facebook to collect information on what pages you visit and other browser information.

EVGA has started to allow facebook and twitter to do just that to all of us on here.

I'm resisting the "invade everyone's privacy" trend (tracking blocker add-ons, using duckduckgo instead of google/others for searches as two things) But it seems to be a losing battle.

Good thing I don't use it.

I stopped caring a long time ago. They're going to do it one way or another and it isn't worth the aggravation trying to stop them.

It is a losing battle.

I will continue to try and minimize as much tracking and spying as I can.

Ghostery FTW!

But, yeah, behind the visual web is a scummy place.

I keep sending SPAM from an entire Domain to my Junk email folder and every few months I get the same trash and have to block that Domain. After that I'm good for another month or two and then it begins again. Same exact SPAM from the same exact companies about the same exact 'stuff' until I block that sender's Domain. I don't know who got my email info or how they got it but apparently it is too late to do anything about it except to keep flagging it like I am doing now.

Even if you don't use facebook (like me), any website that uses facebook plugin, allows facebook to track you around the web. They can sell the information to 3rd parties.

Companies like EVGA should know people value privacy online and don't want 3rd parties tracking them around the net.

I agree. That's not good.
