I watched the video and what I find amazing about the card catching fire is the fact that its not even plugged in. The two 8 pin connectors that is. People act like the VRM overheated lol not even close, it was clearly a faulty card.

Lol and on my 1070 sc I've always left my fans at 60%. I mean I think the fans are quite quiet and I prefer keeping my card cooler period.

What's the best way to shut down very quickly a computer ? 
 
The switch on the PSU ?
Or pull of the cable of the PSU directly ?

Both would work about the same, but I would suggest the switch.  Easier to flip a switch than pull out a cable that is designed to be in there snugly.
