Hi there everyone... guess what made the news? Problems arising from the gtx 1070s and 1080s made it on yahoo.

.

Ironic too as I just had my GTX 1070 FTW come in yesterday from BHPHOTO.

According to the article, "EVGA has acknowledged the issue and revamped the design, adding thermal pads to the VRMs in new graphics cards. The company will honor its warranties, as expected, as well as produced a VRM thermal pad kit that . Or, EVGA will provide replacements cards using the new thermal design."

So when are these new revamped designs coming out and how do we know if it is the redesigned ones? I haven't opened mine yet.

So sad, you pay extra for a nice overclocking card(better power phasing, etc) and they just can't stop overheating!!! At this point I'm glad I stuck with the Founder's Edition 1080GTX, no heat problems, no fan problems.
