You sure seem to be doing alot of fearmongering along the course of this thread. I mean I understand your frustration but RMA'ing your card is not going to get you a magical fix that noone else is getting who chooses to flash the BIOS and install the thermal pads. You will get the same thing they have, just likely done for you. And thats ok too, nothing wrong with that. But bashing the company for their approach to the situation while they are just going to give you the same approach in the RMA process is ludicrous and irrational. The outcome is the same either way, except you don't have to do the work.

I'm not fear-mongering at all, but i understand you can get it that way. I'm just stating facts, when i deal with an entity or a  company i put my emotions out of the way. I paid for something, that must be delivered as is, square and simple.

If EVGA can't deliver a FIXED card (which i know they can't now, factories process have to be updated etc, i got that, but i as i said, i have no empathy For Entity or Companies), they can simply take the exact same card with a different cooling or not touched one by the issue and cross ship it to me, which is the right and only move right now.

Otherwise a Refund is the only solution. It could be simpler for me to just ask that, without wasting my time in the Forum, but as you can see i still give them Options to set things right.

Its not a fact when you say you disapprove of the provided method but then state that you are willing to recieve disapproved method by RMA'ing your card for the exact same fix. This my friend we call irrationality.

EDIT: In the end I think you are best seeking a refund because this is the only fixes you are going to receive unless future problems arise. And you are clearly not satisfied with the fixes provided. This is my advice.

You could just save yourself a hernia and the rest of us a headache by simply calling 1-888-881-3842 to express your frustration with them directly?
@darheran
I couldn't agree with you more. There are a lot of frustrated people ATM, but they're are upset, angry, frustrated(i.e. not thinking clearly=irrational). Some people have good reason to be pissed, others just take the "what if" analogy to A WHOLE... NUBBA... LEBEL. <----another MADTV reference for those of us old enough to remember it.

No, this is called "not reading what i wrote properly".
But again i'm not impressed by employees under cover, i said that already. (here one for free to call me paranoid and add it to the irrational one.)

Employee undercover... I wish lol. And I read what you wrote properly. You said if I don't get the fix ill refund. You are not getting the fix you want, so refund. End of story. Why continue when the solution is provided? I think it may be you friend who is a shill for a competitor if you want to start down that path.

ROFL, exactly
holy jeebus!
There are only two options as far as I can see!
Option 1: Acknowledge eVGA made mistakes (which they're trying to rectify), and accept their fixes
or
Option 2: Request a refund, get said refund, kick rocks, swear off eVGA forever and buy a new card from another AIB partner.
It's very simple. You just need to take time to think about things rationally....

If you read, you can see that a ticket (what am i saying, 2 tickets are open). Which is a valid process.

Anyway what you and your friends are trying, won't work nor stick. Unless you show me your official EVGA card. keep trying.
