First post updated with BIOS's for several 1080 and 1070 cards. More coming soon.

Please post any feedback in this thread, we are still fine tuning and updating as more BIOS's are available.

Thank you so the Primary Bios for the GTX 1080 FTW is the one when the card is switched to the Master Bios right?

Just tested with my 1080 FTW (case is Corsair 780T, good airflow)

At idle the fans still doesn't spin, hitting up to 40c. After playing BF4 for a few minutes the fans go up to 1700~1720rpm at 67c, doesn't go above that here. This is without any custom fan curve and just letting the card handle the temps/fans by itself.

I believe it can go even higher if you have a small case or not so good airflow but for me at least the fans are quieter and slower than selecting the aggressive profile manually.

Is there a specific RMA feature to use if I would like to swap my 1080FTW card? While I have not removed the backplate due to nerves about my hardware, I recall a slight smell of burning silicon from when I first received the card and suspect a minor amount of damage as the card still operates with the occasional black screen and driver crash.

Would anyone know if 1.5 mm thick pads are thick enough for the application?

The technician who analyzed and said that EVGA has no protection system against short circuit and overload, managed to turn the GTX 1070 FTW in a 1080 GTX! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRVicvkgeZU
