EVGA GTX 1080 FTW

Previous Master BIOS 86.04.17.00.80
Flashed Master BIOS  86.04.3B.00.80

Does this mean the flash worked, I'm wondering if it worked as the BIOS Version is different from the OP information.
Running AMD motherboard and received the zi folder I had to rename zip.

My fans are still off in Idle is there a way to make them spin all the time without having to install third party software?

Played a game for 10 minutes then opened GPU-Z and it said my GPU was at 134 Fahrenheit with a fan speed of 24%.

I'm using a 1070 FTW; I don't need to flash the secondary BIOS if I'm not using it, right?

As far as ive heard so far no, if you don't intend on using the slave BIOS you don't need to flash it.

Might have been a typo. Also, 57C is really good!
My son and I were playing Star Wars Battlefront 2015 for about 5 hours straight. Max temp I saw was 47C @ 65%-80% fans. I'm using fast sync which caps the fps to 121 FPS though.

Somewhere earlier in this thread an official had stated the 1060's will not need a VBIOS update. And they've now also cleared them off the thermal announcement page

EDIT: Found it... Post #821 by Jacob http:// forums.evga.com/FindPost/2576616

EDIT2: Does anyone know how to properly link in the thread? It seems wonky to me. Won't let me insert direct link/url and seems to ignore html <a> links with the Edit HTML Source window. lol

I hope EVGA will also do an official stress test with there 1080 Classy. Mostly all the testing are for the FTW ones only.

where are the bios updates for the 1060 cards?

BIOS updates on 1060 ACX3  cards will not be necessary, we will have the optional thermal pads for some SKU's so please stay tuned.

Hmm, I may have been hasty.  Apologies.
