I moved up to 20!
Oh my, I see some Orange in my cross hairs. Going to do some carpet bombing over night.
Look out!

Good job everyone, you folks never cease to impress me, and inspire me.
Thank you.

Thank you Orange for the kind words.
There are so many on this team including your self, and others who are no longer with us at this time. (The door is always open and the light is on)
You all put in the time and effort to help in challenges, help with problems, help keep us informed. Help humble me when I need it.
Thank you all for all you all do.

I'm just trying to hang on to #30.  JHMarshal is 3 WU's behind me.  But I have to declock my 980ti a little and turn down the fan overnight to enable sleeping.

So riddle me this, I have 81 waiting for validation. Some have been waiting since yesterday that have been returned for validation. I have found a few that the machine validating it has had an "error while computing" along with a few that were "aborted by user"  My question is: What happens to these? Back out for validation to someone else? What happens if it goes past the deadline without being validated? Do I need to keep everything running past the ending date to get all of these validated? Which brings me to the question of what is the actual ending time of this time zone wise?

No you do not have to keep running to get them validated.
There are 2 work units sent out, one to you and one to another person. If you abort or have an issue, the WU get sent to another person right away.
Unlike folding where it has to "time out" not so in BOINC, so it is ok to dump, abort a WU.
If you are getting a lot of errors, it maybe your overclock, Back it down some.
In PG challenges, only WU DL after the start and turned in before the end count.
You get credit right away for the WU, if it is no good, you will have the points deducted from your score later.
If you keep a WU past the deadline it will be sent out. Some sub-projects it can take weeks or even months to be validated.
SOB WUs take a ling time to crunch a week or more, it could be a month or two if you do a few to get them all validated.

My longest Pending Task on PG was 47 Days.
howdy2u,
You have your computers hidden so we cannot see what you are running and info on your Tasks.

I have only factory OCs on GPUs, only one CPU OC'd it's on my main machine and it's been that way since I put it together (2yrs ago). The other machine is stock clocks. I am not getting errors except for when my power decided to turn on and off yesterday I got 3 and that has been all.
Thank you for the answers. Obviously I have never done this before, only folding where dumping/ aborting is frowned upon. Thus why I started 7 hours after I offered assistance. I am finding it interesting to say the least............Bcav was correct......like a kid in the candy store for me right now. I set my own personal goals in this and have made them so far. You folks are a bad bad badddddddddddddd influence (meant in the nicest way of course

There's a bit more than one day to go!

Challenge: Wallis is Born
App: 11 (AP27)
(As of 2016-11-22 14:02:54 UTC)

123694 tasks have been sent out. [CPU/GPU/anonymous_platform: 22325 (18%) / 101246 (82%) / 123 (0%)]

Of those tasks that have been sent out:

9491 (8%) came back with some kind of an error. [1696 (1%) / 7795 (6%) / 0 (0%)]
92478 (75%) have returned a successful result. [11763 (10%) / 80616 (65%) / 99 (0%)]
21725 (18%) are still in progress. [8866 (7%) / 12835 (10%) / 24 (0%)]

Of the tasks that have been returned successfully:

15270 (17%) are pending validation. [1364 (1%) / 13884 (15%) / 22 (0%)]
77198 (83%) have been successfully validated. [10399 (11%) / 66722 (72%) / 77 (0%)]
6 (0%) were invalid. [0 (0%) / 6 (0%) / 0 (0%)]
4 (0%) are inconclusive. [0 (0%) / 4 (0%) / 0 (0%)]

So far we've found 5 AP25s plus 3 more AP25s that are waiting for wingmen. With 28 hours to go, there's still time to find an AP26 or even the AP27 we're searching for!
