Well if you can guide me to a plug and play program I can throw my 2 GPU's in there for you (only 970s currently) I have to wait for a 8 hour folding project on one to finish though. I can run them to the end of your challenge if that would be of any help at all. Still in the process of building up a box for my 1060s and putting the 970s on water. (awaiting more parts and more money) If the 1060s would be more beneficial I can throw those in and take the 970s out. Testing 1 970 that was a Ebay purchase but have blocks and such ready except for a case.................LMK

as far as I know, they are still broken...not heard anything different.. but even if they were fixed, would not change until after the challenge is finished..
I have not moved from 373.06 on any of my GPU's

This is going to come down to the last WU's to see if we can keep 2nd place....

Still on 373.06 on both Windows 7 2012R2(Windows 8.1) and Windows 10.
yodap Is your OS Windows 10 if so make sure it is updated and the you install the Driver yourself.
The Windows 10 Driver is not installing the Complete Driver like it is missing OpenGL altogether.
After a Major Upgrade in Windows 10 I run DDU after I uninstall all of the NVIDIA Drivers and make sure you get the NVIDIA Update removed as well, do not restart your PC Yet. Run DDU and Select to boot into Safe Mode once in safe mode DDU will start up and you can run DDU and allow it to restart. Then Install Driver 373.06.
Also make sure your VS Runtimes are up to date BOTH x64 and x86 or 32Bit versions.
You can download them from MS Download Site They are a Must for Collatz GPU Tasks.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
You can skip 2013
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 Both x86 and x64.
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 Both x86 and x64.

I have only been running 373.06 drivers, I have the program loaded up and hoping it is pointed in the correct direction for you folks. Joined the team and set it for AP27 GPU only. Hopefully that is all that needs to be done, the only thing I am waiting on is the Folding project to complete in ~7 hrs.

EDIT: As long as it is AP27 does the "task" matter? It shows "The Riesel Problem (Sieve)" Or should it show something else?

You must have GPU Nvidia selected in PG preferences.
UnTick CPU taks....

otherwise it automatically selects a cpu project, which you do not want..

Cool howdy2u2, good to have you.

bacv, I had already updated to 373.06 before I read your post. It's win10 and I always do a clean install. I normally wouldn't touch a 3rd party driver program with a 10 foot pole but I will look into DDU after the holiday.
