So, it is going to take long time to receive the thermal pad from EVGA because I 'm not from USA, I have the ability to order from Amazon Arctic thermal pad with fast delivery but I'm not sure what thickness I need?
I own 2 GTX 1070 cards, the 1070 SC ACX3.0 and the 1070 FTW and I want to put the thermal pad for both cards.
Could someone from EVGA team confirm the thermal pad thickness needed for this cards?

The 145x145mm should be enough for both cards?

Unless I'm misinterpreting something, the above referenced EVGA FAQ of 1.0mm doesn't reflect the current situation.
On approx. 26 or 27 Oct 2016, Jacob stated 1.5mm on twitter in a reply. The installation video produced by
GamersNexus shows  approximately 2mm thickness using calipers.  Go to approx. 1:25 in the video for total pad sizes).

Can I use 2x 1.0mm on top each other if I can't find 1x 2mm?

It's likely that it would work as the substrate material used for adherence is designed as a part of the thermal process.  But that's a layman's assumption.  But, there could be an issue with air bubbles, so if one develops, you likely won't be able to easily squeeze it out.  Air pockets equals heat potential.  Poke an air bubble with a needle, carefully.

Personally, I'd get the proper size to begin with.  Good luck.

A quick look on amazon gave me the impression that the only available standards are 0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm. I can't find anything with 2mm so far.
