If there were a serious, potentially dangerous problem... Don't you think Evga would issue a product withdrawal like Samsung for the Note 7?

Note this is not my card, im just worried though.
 
Is this something we need to worry about? I have my PC running constantly, even when im not at home.

And how long did it take for them to issue that recall?  Even after so called replacement units were issued...  This is starting to feel exactly the same, only hopefully the replacement and newer units will be fine for EVGA.

Failures happen. Just because a few people had problems doesn't mean the whole line is faulty. Do you need to worry? Yes/No. Any running electrical device may become a fire hazard at any time, there are no guarantees against that happening.

That must be 1 heck of a miracle power draw through the Pci-x slot , since the card doesn't have either of the power plugs on it ??
