1080x1200 is not a very demanding resolution. His Furmark runs are indicative of what someone playing normal games at higher resolutions / high refresh rates might experience during normal gameplay though. I'm regularly hitting the power limit(112%) on some games such as DOOM or Shadow Warrior 2 where I also see the highest core temps.




I think this will vary greatly across the board. For example, I'm running in 1440p @ 144hz and gysync on a 1070. Those kind of
parameters guarantee's that my card will be running hard most of the time. Its nice to see more information that was presented
outside of this forum. The one I'm waiting for is Tomshardware re-doing their tests after collaborating with EVGA about it. 
 
And yes i agree. EVGA should've anticipated the signs and presented irrefutable evidence, rather than post a few lines on a forum.
