Does anyone else have the problem of your computer shutting off shortly after any game / program is launched that is heavily using the gpu?  I am only trying to play starcraft II so far and about 5 minutes into any game the computer just shuts down.  Everything was working fine before switching out the video cards...  I switched from 2x ASUS gtx 760s to the EVGA 760 SC...

The other stupid mistake that I made was purchasing 2 of these 760 sc cards only to find out for some stupid reason they have decided to remove the SLI capability...  Is there any point at all in keeping the extra card?  Or should I just sell it for a huge loss...)=

Welcome to the forum. More information on your system would be really helpful. Details on your hardware, specifically your power supply, model and watts. Generally speaking 'just shutting down' is indicative of power supply problem.

I was thinking exactly the same before reading it. It heavily try to use the GPU -> the GPU need its maximum power -> The PSU can't send that amount of power -> PC shuts down.

You could try it on another PC to discard it.

Wait... Do you have a 700 series card? You posted in the wrong forum if so, and I can move the post for you. You need to clarify so that everyone can help.

What part numbers do you have?

Are they both the same size VRam amount?
