I have never ran dual monitors or even studied it lol so I tried ASUS English line apparently they cannot understand plain english tried 3 different callers.

I am wanting to add another, but am thinking of upgrading to a 144hz same size or larger if being same size would be this model most likely would like a larger but a 24 would do

My question is am I capable of running dual setup with a 144hz and a 60hz?
 
Trying to decide on getting the 144hz use it as main for gaming and my 60hz for desktop/programs when gaming or should I just nab the same monitor I have now for 2?

TY for the answer Sajin was super frustrating on phone with ASUS yesterday no one understood a word I was saying I checked search did not find anything relevant also lol pretty sad 15yrs in gaming and other stuff I have just come to the dual monitor question ha
 
Now it is time to do some shopping that tech call was kind of worry some may make me stay away from ASUS now seeing lots of pixel issues I know have had 1 bad one in mine since I've had it also have 3yr extended warranty but they will turn you down over dead pixels.
 
I guess I'm just use to the top tier support via EVGA and spoiled maybe because it is pretty much the best in the world on product backing I have ever seen ?

I would need just HDMI cable for second monitor like the one I'm currently using correct or display port cord?
 
I have this one hooked in my 960 with a DVI-D cord I seemed to get a better picture and response vs HDMI for some reason.
 
So basically should I got 2x new HDMI cables with dual setup or do I need display port cable for one of them?
 
Also which high speed quality HDMI cables do you recommend?

Leave the 60Hz monitor on dvi-d. Use display port for the 144Hz monitor.

After researching gaming monitors last few days think I have decided to go with a 41-43" ultraHD 4K 120hz TV instead can get a pretty good LG or Samsung for about $100 more bucks vs a 27" brand 144hz gaming monitor

I would suggest getting the 144Hz monitor. That TV won't do 120Hz, you'll be limited to 60Hz.

yeah I wasn't even thinking twice I would probably get a 20-40+ms delay time in TV panel but ordered a ViewSonic XG2701 27" Full HD 1080P 144Hz Free Sync Gaming Monitor can't wait
