That's the second EVGA product I have to ignore.
I'm afraid if you ignore every piece of computer component/manufacturer that has a component go bad or fail on someone then you'll just have an empty space on your desk where a computer would be.
Haha...
You need to do some homework, child. I read so many bad reviews about the GS I actually opted for the EVGA 850 P2 Super Flower unit, instead. So no, I won't have an "empty space where a computer would be". I will, hopefully, have a working computer that doesn't turn off after 6 months as many reviews claim, and/or catch fire.
Please refrain from disseminating advice. Go be hasty some place else.

The EVGA 850 SuperNova GS power supply appears to be identical to the Seasonic X series 850W. The pinouts, power ratings, etc appear to be identical. Does Seasonic manufacture this supply for EVGA?
I ask because I have a Seasonic 850W X series in one of my systems that just failed after only 6 months of intermittent use. Prior to this I had Super Micro server supplies in this chassis that have lasted for many years. I only went with the Seasonic due to the modular design and now I am sorry I did. I would like to replace the Seasonic with perhaps an EVGA supply, but I don't want to if the supply is designed and built by Seasonic.
This is also a Super Flower build:
