Are the 1080 GTX FTW models being shipped with the new thermal pad?  Is there a way to tell if my model may already have this fix?  I had my card RMA'd recently due to the black screen issue outlined here: http://forums.evga.com/GTX-1080-FTW-Black-screen-fans-spin-up-to-100-m2530081.aspx.  I wonder if they fixed this VRAM issue before they shipped my new card.

My supplier took the sealed 1080FTW back along with 3 friends that are having black screen problems and vrm fails. Some opted for the Asus Strix and another for the MSI. I went with Gigabyte on this one.
