I've returned Razer products in the past because their required software was so bad. I'd never recommend that brand of computer hardware.

Razer never even made it far into serious consideration.  I've read and heard about way too many issues with Razer products.   Another consideration is the background software.  Don't want half a dozen configuration programs going on at the same time.   And I'll admit that I am used to and like the Logitech set up process.

This mouse came with my current keyboard. Works very well. The keyboard combo said 3 year battery life but the mouse says 2 year. I have had mine a little over a year and using same generic batteries it came with. Probably the longest lasting wireless mouse you are going to find.https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Mouse-Large-Computer/dp/B003NR57BY/

I've been using the Razers for several years. I'm on my second Razer now (first one broke when I dropped it on the tile floor) and haven't had any issues.

Still using a Logitech MX518.. I've been using this model for years and am still completely happy with it - so much so that I purchased some new Hyperglide mouse skates for it a week or so ago, and it's running just as good as the day I first started using it all those years ago.

My 2 year old Logitech G500s is still working fine, i can't notice any wear marks on the side of the mouse or on the mouse 1-2 buttons.

Im finding it hard to give up on and/or replace my G700. The G700 does come with a cord, but it's so stiff that I hate using it, so I picked up several more rechargeable batteries.
I'm waiting to see if anything remarkable happens around Black Friday.
