Also  States that All Pascal Cards with Back Plates have this issue not just the FTW Pascal Models.

Ah that explains the disappearing link.

So all Pascal Cards with Back Plates have this issue, forgive me for not knowing anything about what is or isn't a pascal model but what does that mean to the layman? Is there a specific date I can go by? Is there a specific brand line I should be avoiding? How can I quickly figure out what card is or isn't pascal model?

No I am not say that, ZCTxCHAOSx is say that all cards that have back plate are.
Myself no card is having an issues unless you are seeing them on your own personal card.
Some users are saying that they are have Temperature issues and they are the ones that might need the extra thermal pads.
A Pascal Model Graphics Card is the current GPU that NVIDIA has released to the Market.
The GTX 1050 1060 1070 and 1080. NVIDIA also has a Titan X Pascal Card that some users call the Titan XP

When did you buy that card, from where and did you check the manufacturing date via http://www.evga.com/support/guestregister.asp and entering your serial number?
Has the card been manufactured before 8/30?

My thermo mod set is just ordered. After log in to european EVGA site I enter evga.com/thermalmod and on the bottom I found my adress and registered card details (in my case 1070 SC bought in August) which was approved for order this thermo set.

I bought my1070 SC ASX 3.0 from microcenter last week. So if the manufacturer date is after 8/30, it's safe to keep and use?

What I'm really asking, what's going on if the graphic card makes damage on other parts of the computer ?

The motherboard for example ? evga will pay for that ?

Look at the top post. (Warning There is a VRM PROBLEM Protect yourself) He had a 1070SC burn up. Also my 1070SC gets checkerboard crashes if i apply any overclocking at all. Even if my card is running 65C it still crashes in every game with a slight overclock.

That's a good question and EVGA should clarify.
