I am not here to make excuses or anything, but when you uploaded your receipt, you should have initially uploaded the amended receipt from Amazon. The Step up process goes off of the receipt loaded to your account, which shows that you originally purchased from a 3rd party reseller. No matter who fulfilled the order in the end, your uploaded receipt still shows an invalid seller which is what EVGA must go off of.

I have never seen EVGA try to find ways out of honoring the Step up process if the card was purchased from an authorized resales from the beginning, the card was registered within the alloted time frame, the receipt was uploaded, and the request submitted for step up.

I am sorry to see you going through these frustrations after waiting so long.

And that is understandable. But keep in mind that i have been waiting 4 months for the Step up and it slipped my mind to update the new details from Amazon. What bothers me is that i gave them the new information that is VALID and now that my cards are past the 90 days registration period and they now canceled my Step Up, the next thing i am going to hear is that because of that, they will not be able to honor still.

The product you are trying to Step Up was not purchased through Amazon LLC. Our records indicate that the item was shipped to Newegg so the original purchase invoice would have to come from them. Because this item was purchased then sold by DealsPro1 we are not able to honor the Step Up request. The order you have linked to does not have a different order number or any information that has been changed besides the seller. Unfortunately this is not a qualified purchase order that will pass the approval process.

A perfect example of a lack of stock -and- a lack patience, leading to a very unwelcome and expensive result.
While do I feel sorry for the OP, there is no way for EVGA to be able to work with him. The chain of custody is quite clear in this case...
Originally sold by Newegg, bought DealsPro1 and the price was marked up and it was resold on Amazon.
-->Game completely Over as far as stepup is concerned

For those in a big hurry and buying for a future stepup, dont think the DETAILS do not really matter or you will end up like the OP

Well if that is the final say, that is totally fine then. I have just contacted Amazon and explained to them what is going on with the hardware and its eligibility and will be returning these cards and placing a new order from Amazon that originates from their warehouse. I hope i am not given any type of retaliatory treatment because i have been misled by Amazon.

Your smartass response was not necessary. In this case I AM NOT LOSING ANYTHING because i am returning these cards and placing a new order. Unless EVGA finds a way to take retaliatory measures against me (illegally) because of a technical error in part of Amazon, then they would be in much trouble for discrimination.
