I've bought my card on 1st of September 2016 from a retailer, using my pc on weekends mostly and overclocked using the evga oc software 6.0.7 core +63mhz, power limit 120%, temp target 92C, core voltage limit slider to MAX, using custom fan curve so I can maintain 2050mhz clock speed. I can oc memory by +500 but not all games see a benefit of it.

Today after reading people complaining about black screens + fan speed 100%, burning components on the card, overheating issues which even evga by them selves acknowledged.

Are those issues rare or I should worry and ask for new card from the retailer I bought my card?

Is the overheating vrm vram issue anything to worry about with my oc +63 clock and +400 memory, max power and voltage limit for the FTW edition of gtx 1080, for example?

Yes, I would worry..... when and if something happens to the card. I purchased both my cards in July, from the "bad" factory, with the serial numbers in range of what was supposed to be the problem batch and you know what happened to mine?  Nothing....They both run at 2100mhz and 5400 mem clock. They run a Asus 34' ultra wide 1440p and I have used DSR to run them at 4K 5120x2160 with The Witcher, Doom, Arma 3, GTA V and World of Warships with ZERO issues.

Well i will contact the retailer where I bought thr card and ask for a replacement of the card for the newer manufactured card.

Umm I want to make several benchmarks and tests to confirm my card is stable and made correctly.
What I actually wanted is some tips and maybe kinda guide to do these tests, what should I check and how.

Is running furmark on maxed settings for 20min enough? Or it isn't a safe software?

Is running HEAVEN benchmark max settings, tessellation and aa and all those settings... for like 1 hour is enough?

Should the vram and vrm be almost the same temps as the core. Like when I touch the backplate I get the same thermal sense both around the core and vram vrm?

Fire Strike, Time Spy, Heaven....those may give you basic idea of stability. Best stability test after running those would be to use the card as you normally would. Play what games you like at what settings you can manage (most likely High/Ultra).
I've had my 1070 FTW for about three months and it's been as fine as wine...relax and enjoy your card.

How long do you recommend let a benchmark to run?
How long is it enough ro tell that I'm safe playing battlefield 1 or witcher 3 all day not worrying.. Do you have an estimated time from your experience?

The statement from EVGA did not say 3-4% of cards were affected.  It said 3-4% of the VRM ICs they used were faulty.  There are what, 12 of those ICs on each FTW??   If so, that would mean -- for cards produced before they found/fixed the IC supply problem -- there is a 36-48% of having at least (1) bad VRM IC on any single card.  But I don't know if (1) VRM operating out-of-spec is enough to cause the BS/100% problem, or if it takes more than one, so that could lower the odds.
 
I bought my 1080FTW from Amazon on Sept-19.  No way to know if it shipped from EVGA before or after the "fix".  So far, it has worked perfectly -- no problems of any kind -- and I have run some games that others say quickly triggered the BS/100% problem on their cards.   I decided to keep it, hoping it is not affected, but worst case I can RMA it if the BS/100% problem ever shows up.
