Any time they have to preface it with "for free", that means there'll come a time when it's not going to be. Microsoft is struggling with the OS as a service revenue model.

This upgrade does nothing for me.  Hopefully they will have other fixes and additions as well.

Most people don't understand what "Windows as a service" actually means. In Microsoft's case, it means your Windows will be always up to date with the latest features and security updates. That's Windows as a service. No cost whatsoever.
