Hi

I have evga sc 1060 3G (single fan) card and when I play Mafia III the temperature reach 85 c, fan speed is 65% and audible so is that temp dangerous ? it is my first evga card.

85c is within the maximum allowed temp range. 94c is the max allowed temp. I'd shoot for 75c or lower if you can.

Increase case airflow/turn gpu fan speed up.

my case is open not closed and if increased fan speed it will become very noisy. is it suppose to be like 75c or under that number ? all reviews say that

Do you have EVGA Precision software installed? I know you mentioned this is your first EVGA card...

If not --

1. Download install EVGA precision XOC.
2. Click on Fan "Curve" icon
3. Enable Automatic Fan Control
4. Select "Aggressive preset"
5. Click "OK"

Make sure the EVGA Precision auto-starts on Windows

In the 'General' Tab, select "Start minimized" and "Start With OS"

80c would be normal.

Meh... Pascal is *very* efficient... GPU temps even at full-load [99 percent gpu usage] is scary to see over 72c IMO.

Are cables from case and PSU or other stuff covering your GPU or something?

My sound blaster z is covering my evga card, it is x1 pci and I can not move it to the other slot because my noctua cooler is very big and take the first pci x1  slot
