Hi there i wonder if you could help me. I have had my 970 GTX for over 6 months now and in the last week or so some strange stuff has been happening.

Playing Overwatch and i start getting funny green patches and flashes on my screen. it only happens when i have played for over 30 mins. but does not happen with ever game as i played Counterstrike and its fine
but then i purchased Battlefield 1 and it happens 10 min in and its getting worse.
i have 2 monitors 1 dp and 1 HDMI.

things ive tried.
running 1 monitor at a time and they still both get this issue.
turning all settings down to low on BF1 gets me maybe 15min longer before it happens.

i have still in my drawer my old EVGA 580 so i popped that in yesterday and everything has been smooth and fine.
put the 970 back in today got 10 min in on bf1 strange colours on my screen. then i get a device disconnected and failed NV driver msg from windows.

Sounds like the card is failing. Try running the card in debug mode/underclocking it with msi afterburner.

well i tried the debug and it helped a little used the EVGA app and downclocked it by 150mhz and it all runs smooth.

Pretty sure the card is bad. How old is your psu?

same time as the card about 6 months. works fine with my old 580 tho. i think that uses more power.
