I'm used Sony DSC-WX7, and its hard to take focus, and yep, at the back was flashlight of my cellphone. Why for you need the photos? You can check that with your eyes at the memory case, and at the GPU then remove the thermal paste

ok thanks , i asked because i thought it was hard to see it by eyes and maybe needed a zoom with a camera
also could be useful just in case we have those gaps and ppl decide to rma's the cards... some photos could be useful as a proof

Hi, thats me again. Here already was my thread, here it is:

So, i understand why my FTW so HOT. There is two troubles, trouble n.1:
1) The GPU chip is bumpy (or uneven, i dont know how to say right), as in attached image, and it isnt contact with the cooling radiator well, also i think what its whe reason of bad overclocking abbility, cause some parts of chip is hotter than sensor show (and its show HOT), cause they dont touch radiator. How such chip was passed QC? And the chip also changed the colour after the few mounts of work
2) The memory chips isnt in contact with thermal pads on thermalplate, as in attached picture shown. I cant take a photo of this, cause its difficult in such place with such macro-things, but i take a photo of unassembled card - you can see, what the VRM parts and one of memory chips is wet of cooling pads, but other memory chips is dry.

What can i do with such videocard? I bought it in "Computer Universe" of Germany, but i'm from Russia, can i use my warrianty to change this card to other one?

I have same problem with my EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0
I found some gap between the Memory and the thermal pad.

Well this is disappointing.

Gap between GPU-core and radiator much more worst( Trouble with the memory pads can be fixed at least(

Thanks, we are investigating this and reaching out to the posters in this thread directly.

Another day, another design/manufacturing issue found with the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW... I wonder how many cards have this issue.
