Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW (P/N: 08G-P4-6286-KR) is capable of using the EVGA Hydro Copper Waterblock (P/N: 400-HC-5189-B1)?  I know it is not on the compatibility list but I know sometimes something do not make it on it, or does not get updated.  I want to get the EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW w/ waterblock installed but looks like they are out of stock and who knows when they will get more.  But both cards look very similar and want to get the FTW and waterblock for my H2O cooled system.  Any help is appreciated.

I believe the FTW version of the Hybrid Kit and Hydro Copper block are due later this year, potentially late November.

400-HC-5189-B1 is for reference style pcb's. 1080 FTW uses a custom pcb.

If your after a water block for the 1080 FTW, grab the ekwb one. Google "EK-FC1080 GTX FTW" if you want to find out more.

I went with Ek blocks on my FTW's, no issues at all.
