Anyone able to advise what the specs are on the fan that comes with the AIO 1080 cooler? There doesn't seem to be any details provided that I can find.
Specifically looking for :
  • air pressure (mm/H2O)
  • airflow (cfm)
  • fan speed (rpm)
when at full speed..

Thanks in advance.

*edit* got it - see following post for specs.

Oh wait, seems I found it myself after a bit more searching (and added more from posts following, thanks), so I'll post the EVGA fan specs here for future reference :

EVGA fan specs :

  • max air pressure 2.76 mm/H2O
  • max airflow 69.5 cfm
  • max fan speed 2,000 rpm
  • max noise 34.2 dB(A)
  • lifespan 50,000 hours
  • max input power 2.88 watts

I'm looking at replacement fan : BeQuiet! Silent Wings 3, 120mm high-speed, model BL068 (or BL070 for PWM) - specs :
  • max air pressure 3.37 mm/H2O
  • max airflow 73.3 cfm
  • max fan speed 2,200 rpm
  • max noise 28.6 dB(A)
  • lifespan 300,000 hours
  • max input power 4.4 watts
  • can purchase 3 pin model or 4 pin PWM model

I already use the 120mm BeQuiet! case fans and they are awesome and super quiet (but obviously low pressure is not for radiators) :
  • max air pressure 1.63 mm/H2O
  • max airflow 50.5 cfm
  • max fan speed 1,500 rpm
  • max noise 15.7 dB(A)
  • lifespan 300,000 hours
  • max input power 2.4 watts

I would wait till the FTW model is out or they start shipping this model with the New  vRAM Copper Plate.

I'm going to use the 1080 AIO cooler on a Titan X (Pascal). Talked to Jacob a day or so ago and there's definitely an AIO in the works for the Titan XP, but no ETA as yet.. hopefully this year, but not definite, and I can always swap out the 1080 AIO cooler for the Titan-specific model when it comes out. I'm adding some mosfet passive copper heatsinks to help cool the vrm, but apparently they don't get all that hot on the Titan anyway. There's a video here on fitting the 1080 AIO cooler to the Titan with no physical modding required. :)

This is what I like about the FTW Model Hybrid Cooler

Dedicated Memory Plate

A dedicated memory plate that makes DIRECT contact with the water cooling block. Giving the lowest memory temperatures possible.

Oh for sure, that's ideal design, although the FTW model is probably(?) not going to be 100% compatible with the Titan XP. I assume (hope) that a similar direct-contact memory plate will come with the Titan XP AIO Hybrid cooler, whenever that comes out.

edit: just checked - the layout is very different between FTW and Titan.

Because that's what I decided to do. Link cited for reference only.  Nereus seems to be doing a fine job on his research.

Peace, out
