Hey all

It has been a while I found a bug with the forums, I also reported this to EVGA_RobB but I don't think he got my message correctly, so here this topic, hoping anyone else has a solution.
Anyways this is what I keep getting even after Clearing my history & Cookies  when using Waterfox 49.0.2:

The avatar I wanted to upload is this OC of mine my GF made me, meet Frostora :)

Even this Is larger that aloud the site would always neatly auto resize it, which is ideal

Yet still my profile is like this:

Well then if I can't even upload what I want to use for an avatar, it's kind of a lost cause, even though I know this is a bug withing the Forum's functions.
And I know it can be fixed, I always have used Mozilla's Firefox and then later Waterfox without any issues what so ever and I don't plan on changing browsers either.
So I hope this issue can be resolved likewise.

Thanks for reading

You may need to resize your image to a smaller size.

Even if I would do that... as my first image clearly shows >> the browse button to select an image from my system doesn't even show, the uploading tool is broken.

I had the same problem few months ago.

I tried everything i could think of to fix it.
Ran CCleaner
Disabled all addon's
Deleted browser cache
Tested with Microsoft edge browser
Tested with a tablet

I notice EVGA is allowing facebook.net to tracker us on evga website and forums again.

I have the same problem so I will forward your complaint to EVGA. They could not fix my problem so they uploaded the avatar for me.

Ahh okay, thanks rjohnson11 for passing this on

Yet I find it still weird though, it would be nice to know what is causing this, only then the problem can be taken head on with.
As a beta tester myself from x-3dfx and several community forums from the Descent Community,  this was something I always enjoyed doing.
Mainly seeking bugs, making bug reports, thereby helping communities getting cleaner forums, to drivers to game versions in such sense.

All the webmaster would have to do is compare this website build they have now with a previous one where the uploader worked, then they can see where it went wrong and what causes this to occur.
That way a work around or a fix can be made, anyways that is what I did when beta testing for DXX-Rebirth and x3dfx drivers during my 3dfx days.

But I guess it's far more complicated these days to even fix such a small thing.
Thanks for your replies though, that does show that I am not the only one with this particular issue

I have no idea what is causing this and I did try several browsers. The only similarity between our accounts is that we are both physically residing in Europe.

Yeah well it maybe that only European EVGA forum members are effected to the issue.
Might be an idea for the Webmaster to compare the Euro boards with their Non Euro boards and see what makes the difference for this to break.
Then the problem cause may be found and be fixed, sorry if I think to simplistic on the matter, but this is what I would do.

You are missing this part, correct?
The space for the file name and the Select Button.

hah yeah! Well kinda funny now though because now  seems it kind of uhm fixed it's self leeel
So here is what I did xD

I go to my upload avatar thingie:

It says no larger than 200KB, which should be no issue :)

My file is 200px and only 11.4KB in size, which is perfect :)

The I wanted to upload I got this odd error like every time I tried to upload my avatar, I have to hope I can recreate this error because I forgot to make a screenshot of it...

Anyways after the 4th try it worked

Yaaaays! Goldie is Happehs again, my avatar is one of my main OC's named Frostora my Girlfriend made it with Paint Tool SAI

**Update**
The error still happens it seems:

I just have to try a few times before it works, seems like some random ting still happening.

****Update 02****
Yeaps keep trying and it works

Skittles is my other OC also made by my Girlfriend

Profile pictures by the way are not affected by this bug, it's only with the avatars, just to keep in mind and away from the confusion
My workaround is keep trying to override the big, forcing it to work, even tho this bug should get fixed so a workaround is not of need right
Anyways I hope this helps you guys somehow
