I recently just purchased the Classified X99 board and I am extremely happy with it. Yes it lacks RGB and lighting on the board and it lacks wifi, but that is the point of me choosing it if I want a dance room I will go to a bar. If you are building a gaming rig put it on Cat6 diet and be done with it. The board has proven itself time and time again against many others and holds it own quite well. Another reason is this late in the game all this boards gremlins are ironed out. That is my problem with Asus I built on there boards for over 10 years for myself and others and it seems if they run into big troubles they just push another revision out and could care less about the customers they left with past issues.
Ask yourself this what is the point of PCI-E lighting? once a card is in there you won't directly be able to see it. Most enthusiast builds run some form of case lighting, which in my case is Casemods Widebeam and I can assure you I have seen many reviews these LEDs drown out about any MB lighting. Will I stick with an EVGA MB time will tell I will say MB could take a few hints from them with there 90 cable connections. My 6850k went straight to 4.4 at 1.33 with NO issues and stupidly stable I need to stop being lazy and see how much lower I can get with the voltage.
