EGC was never about one person, it was a group effort. People are commenting on it, when they weren't around when EGC was crated from EVGA*BANDITS. When EGC was created (by the community), the community didn't want one person in charge of it. We already been down that road before. Everyone wanted a round circle, where the core group had a say in stuff.
+1 I concur, it was easy to come up with a decision when everyone voice their opinions and come to an agreement. Those who don't know i was Lancelot of the round table

.
MSim, let me ask you this, feel free to answer, you don't have to though...who would you like to see/play again with? I am very intrigue. I have my list, but i want to see yours first.

At no time did evga not ever have the final say in things. Any rules we came up with had to be approved by evga.
I would say things are at an impasse. The community has made up it's mind about evga gaming, and evga doesn't want to budge on forcing the servers to be PG. If veterans of EGC want things to be like old times, they will need to do it on servers outside of evga control.
If I may add to this... by allowing the EGC to voice their opinion on certain rules being added and allow voting on those rules, it not only involves the EGC community, but it gives their take on it, and makes them feel important, and it also has them to "stick around longer".
I might have to disagree with you. To be honest Stalinx, every admin (back in the days), myself included did not like to kick/ban anyone in the server. We have to play rock, paper, scissors game or guess the number in the mic to decide who was going to kick or ban someone in that night

. At the end, All Admins came to the conclusion that we needed to rotate from A to Z in kicking, banning or giving warnings to players. No one felt important back then. Every admin knew who was who and what we needed to do in that night and whatever decision was made, it was a group decision. We all supported each other whether it was a bad/good decision. If someone messed up, we all did, period. That is why you will see someone saying it felt like a brotherhood, because it was.
I have come with ideas that had been implemented, whether i was an Admin or a forum member, you don't see me bragging or feel important.
All i can say is this: if someone would like things to be the way they were before, it starts with not just one person, but all who were involved. I am up for it to give it a try, it is up to the rest of the good old times members to step up and try.
