WCG I am pretty sure they will bunker. They say they can not do a set time. They are not setup for that.
 
PG is always a set time with no bunkering.
 
Bunkering is part of the challenge, if we do not bunker they will have a 48-72 hour head start.
It is a PITA to bunker but it is not all that hard to do. I my self have no problem with bunkering. It is not cheating if it is part of the strategy.
Bunkering is not going to go away, they have been doing it for years. So we go into every challenge with a huge handy cap.

Hmmm, Damned if you do, damned if you don't........
 
I am on the fence now.....I see the point of a timed challenge, but others are going for the head start win, toe over the line before the gun goes off...

Everyone will do it anyway so no need to ponder on it

I see the PG overlap being 4.5 days but it won't matter unless the multi P's want to run PG CPU.

I'm not against bunkering given the inability to prevent it. How easy is it to bunker? I might try it if it helps the team. I'm gonna go all in for challenges in November as the TZC is already going to tap out my power draw. Setting the other cores to wcg is easy enough. It's my favorite project anyway.

11/15/2011 was the "team creation date" but most of us signed up from the 16th through the end of the month.
