Guy's I think we should sign up for this. We average about 100k ppd as a team, without trying. Never hurts to put the teams name out there no matter how we do. (a chance to flex those new HW guns too)
 
Certainly overlaps the next PG Challenge and most probably much of the TZC, but those are GPU heavy. I think we can fit it in.
 
Weigh in here with your thoughts pro and con.

The PG challenge ends the 23rd and GPU are the best way to do those WUs. few days overlap.
The Timezone challenge starts the first of November, 16 days before the WCG challenge. Not sure if the TZC will be over. Should be close.
But I bet there will be a challenge to break the record for monthly production once the TZC nears its end.
I suppose we should join in, WCG seems to be a team favorite project, it is my favorite.Why not, we just do the best we can. Hate to be spread thin though.
Although I am invested in PG this year, trying to crush those challenges.
The Nov is a GPU, you guys with the big gun GPUs will do well next one.
 
 
 

I run WCG regardless - so I'm in!

I am setting myself up with both Folding and Crunching.
 
Bring on the challenge, I will be there..

Pros: contribute to science, team camaraderie, friendly competition
Cons: minus one CPU thread to keep GPU fed for TZC/PG

Remember out team is not the bunker Type.
You will have to read the Rules and post back here to let us know.
Myself I will no longer bunker.
(The challenge's aim is to get as much points as possible in the given time frame.)
With this I would think any task download before the time frame would not count.
Also WCG task come in sets sometimes and you may get your limit but not enough to make a real difference.
So you rig could sit for a few days with no running tasks.

Understand, and Agree, Time Challenge is a Time Challenge,..
