Code 144 = USB problem. Unplug all usb devices except your keyboard and mouse. To fix the pixelation problem disable hardware acceleration inside your web browser.

Perfect! Thank you Sajin!
I think i found out its my SD card adapter connected via USB. disconnected that and i think it worked.
On startup i was getting this message of "Insert disk into drive D"

Im booting up my game now.... crossing my fingers this works!

Man really frustrating :(
Didn't work... now im also getting some weird texture glitches in BF4 too. Random parts of things cutting through hallways. Very minimal, but just saw it in campaign...

What should I do next? Im still getting GPU usage drops here and there. I'm still getting micro stutter when watching movies in Netflix.

I'm sure my drivers are installed correctly and all up to date, ive checked.

Thank you

Testing the card in another computer would be my next suggestion.

Hmmm the only other computer is my dad's and I don't want to go and uninstall his drivers and install mine and be switching cards and installing games :/

Any other way?

What video card does your dad have? You could test his video card in your computer.

I thought I replied to this thread... apparently not, I apologize.

He has a Nvidia 8400 GS... So that won't work. He has an i7 6700 and 16GB of ram though.

This problem is really confusing me. If I send this to a professional, Im worried they wont find anything...

Best option is your dad's pc if his pc has the psu to power your 970.

How do I check what PSU he has? Do I need to open the CPU box?
