Hmm still keep in mind it's only 32 MOdules and 32 FPUs as being 1 FPU per 2 Cores, so it is similar to how HYper Threading works, 4x 6100 ES @ 3Ghz - 3.3Ghz would destroy this, but the power flow will be high, to that the 6200/6300's are the better way out I guess

If you would like to, could you run a BarsWF X64 CUDA test run with this please, It's that I am curious to how it really performs :)

Thanks rjohnson11

My memory came it yesterday and was shipped to two different locations before I got it.
I will install the memory on a bench run to make sure it is ok.
The Case comes between Friday the 21st - 26th I cannot wait so long, but the shipping was free so I will not complain.

Cool GTX
AMD cpus ?  Are they better at crunching or is it a price/performance thing ?

I'm guessing it's a price thing. May not perform as good as Intel, but is cheaper when your on a smaller budget.

Yes I paid $560 a CPU back in 2013 and the only 12 or More Core Intel was $2100 at that time.

For WCG this will run fine and for PrimeGrid tasks that take 10 minutes on Intel CPU takes up to 2 hours on the AMD CPUs.

Well at 2CPU.com we have many members with such builds I love this though, :)
Quad CPU motherboards are huge their format is SWTX format, 16.48 x 13" if I recall correctly
It would of been nice if SLI & CFX was supported, like they did with their previous Socket F boards as SLI support went, also something I would love to build fora fun project

Here more info of your mobo bcavnaugh :)

Supermicro HQ8GL-iF
http://www.supermicro.nl/...00/SR56x0/H8QGL-iF.cfm

Might be a new bios there, Supermicro is great for such things as bios support goes for the latest CPU's and fixes
You could slap a few Pascal based Tesla's or Fiji XT based Radeon Pro's / Fire Pro's or AMD Stream GPGPU's in here though, since when doing OpenCL calculations, you don't need CFX or SLI anyway, same when working with AMD Vulkan API
Same for CUDA as SLI goes, SLI needs to be set to disable.

Wow! My Bios was almost 2 years old.
All went well on my bench testing today as well as updating the Bios.
The New Memory works great and I am now up to 48GB but I may remove the 4GB Memory from my 2P Rig.
Now all I need to do is make head or tails of the AMD Bios Settings.
