You make an account at http://www.evga.com/myevga/ and register your EVGA products. This is essential for the RMA process anyways(edit: if needeed)....once you fill out your information and submit a copy of your invoice, they have everything they need

Wait... so looking at the supported "PCI-E configurations" you can't do 6-Pin + 6-Pin? Well that makes no sense...
Well looking at the design these appear to only work for the 10XX series. Bummer, would love to get a couple for my 970's...

Request sent. Although, it should be with no shipping cost for us who have encountered the 100% BS. Funny thing is that I' m still without a card and still waiting the rma card. 

You should be able to do 6 pin+ 6pin, it's shown in a number of the screenshots, just not listed in the pic of possible combos
 
one question I have is, what type of screwdriver bit is needed to unscrew the PCIe connectors to change them out, and what types/spacing are installed by default?
 
I get the feeling I may need to find my precision screwdriver set again, it's around these forums (or my house) somewhere.

Ii'm very interested this thing(evga POWER LINK), but so sadly evga doesn't ship this item to my country (MALAYSIA). how this can be.

Hey EVGA_JacobF , I was wondering if i will get one of these free even though  ive been sitting in step up and still am? I mean technically i have a 1080 but its in your warehouse.How long are they offered free?
