Those are my dates. The day i registered these cards are the same day i put them into the Step Up Program. In 13 days, it will be 4 month waiting in queue for a pair of 1070's.

Yet you could go buy a pair of 1070s now from any number of retailers and have them in a couple days. EVGA is ok with continuing to make you wait while they ship out cards to other retailers.

Why would i do that and lose the money i invested in the 980's? The whole point was to upgrade, not buy them, then go and spend another pile of money on new cards and lose the value that these go into the new cards with. What you are saying is NOT AN INTELLIGENT OPTION FOR ANYONE WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO STEP UP.

You completely missed my point.

I guess i did, because from reading what you suggested, it seems as though you're saying to go out any buy a pair of 1070's from another retailer.

I said you could do that. My point being that EVGA has plenty of cards available to ship out to other retailers while they continue to make those of us who committed to buying one months ago wait. Hence my sentence "EVGA is ok with continuing to make you wait while they ship out cards to other retailers."

I'm baffled by your response to what I said when I'm advocating for the same thing you are. I have nothing more to say on this topic.

so much complaining when EVGA could just do like everyone else and say oh sorry you want an upgrade pay full price. EVGA is doing this because they are awesome, and its something only they offer.

Offering this deal will obviously come with an amount of buyer expectancy. So to counter an argument against rival manufacturers who don't facilitate this offer is somewhat antagonistic, especially when some have and are still waiting after 5 months.

This is from someone (me) that is currently in the S.U.P & really don't care when they get the email to step up...
