Is it normal to have been waiting over 3 months for a step up to a 1070?

This is a step up question, so it is going to be moved to the Step up section so it can be answered better.

Depends on the model I'm guessing. Some models, like the blower style (non-FE) don't get as many made - so there would be a lot less of them for step-up. I'm betting the demand for a 1070 is a lot higher than for a 1080, so there is that to consider as well.
 
I started my step-up to a 1080 ACX 3.0 mid to late July, and I've just sent out my 980 Ti Classified this past Thursday. So, maybe next week I'll have it in hand.

Yes it takes some time as the demand for the new pascals has been very high and Nvidia has been slow in delivering GPUs

I waited 4 months for my 1080 if that gives you an idea.

I'm still waiting on my GTX 1080, did step-up the day 1080 was released.  Havent heard a single thing about it, getting old. My 980Ti is giving me troubles, lots of massive fps drops in BF4 at 1440p

4 months is about average right now if you read the other strings in this section of the forum

Double check your date.  If you did step up first day and the card you chose was the ACX 3.0 non SC.  You should ask about the step up.  I did my step up on 5/29.  Tried the first time on 5/27 on release for the SC and transaction failed.  Go to "My products" and double check.  If you did step up on 5/27 and for the 6181, I might ask via email if something went wrong...You should have at least received a notice about Step 1.
 
 

I am waiting on a 1070 Step Up since June. If people are getting 1080's, then i should have heard something
 

I've tried to be patient through this process but this is honestly getting ridiculous. Especially now that these cards seem to be readily available from other retailers. I appreciate this program exists but between hiding my position in queue and this wait time I won't ever do this again.
