I got auto upgraded to this version by Steam. And now it's totally fubar. The fan setting curve is not respected at all where it was working fine on the older version. My fan now runs at 210rpm until the gpu hits around 95 degrees at which point it very noisily kicks up to ~4500rpm for a few seconds, enough to drop the temperature to around 85 degrees. Then back to 210rpm, rinse and repeat. The only reason I run this crappy software with it's god awful UI is to get sensible fan behavior. And now it doesn't even manage that.

And don't get me started on the necessary to provide name and email address to even use the software. Or the necessity to provide your full address just to sign up to this forum to Foul language removed, please respect the terms of service about this abysmal software that needs 770 threads (!) to fail to do it's job.

Go to control panel, Programs, uninstall programs then choose EVGA Precision XOC then choose Uninstall.   Glad I could help.

The full name and address is required if EVGA is going to send you items, and applies toward the EVGA store, as your profile extends across the entire evga site, to include the forum.

I highly suggest utilizing the stand alone version of Precision if you don't want it automatically updated by steam.

Thank you for the report on what is happening, and hopefully evga can work toward making the software better.

Now, vulgar language is against the terms of service shown in the general discussion thread. Please refrain from posting vulgar language.

After installing the new Precision X OC I'm unable to adjust the pixel clock. When I click "ok" it just reverts back to default.

System Info: 16GB RAM, Core i7 2700k @3.5Ghz, EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked w/ EVGA ACX Cooler, OCZ SSD (boot drive), 2TB HDD (game drive)

I did not had any issue changing the pixel clock before XOC, I have the latest NVIDIA drivers, currently that is 372.90 Date:09/20/2016. When I first did the reinstalled I was v6.0.6 XOC, however I have since uninstalled 6.0.6, deleted the EVGA folder, rebooteded and installed 6.0.7. This seems to make no difference. I tried uninstalling the X OC, and I installed X16 and everything works exactly as expected.

So still no KBoost function for NON-EVGA cards thats not cool !?!?!

K-boost is a EVGA feature only in PX 6.0.7. To even download the product you need to own a Evga GPU? The rest of the brands are stuck using AB by Msi which might offer overvoltage but not K-Boost. FYI K-Boost isnt working properly anyway atm, so no loss GanGstaOne

I got k-boost working on msi afterburner v4.3.0 beta 4. Works fine with my two pascal titan x's.

Ahhh AB finally added K-Boost huh?
When I enable K-Boost in PX 6.0.7, I restart PrecisonX, my core clocks don't stick to desired offset, and the voltage fluctuates still.
As far back as I can remember K-Boost is suppose to lock both the core and voltage to desired setting(MAX), which it currently doesn't with .90 driver.
I guess I'll try deleting my Evga folder and try to re-install PX 6.0.7 and give it another try after work tonight. I have gotten better Benchmark results leaving voltage alone, oddly enough.

No. You have to use a older evga precision x skin with afterburner to make it work.

anyone else getting the precisionX 16 Server window popping up on bootup, and as soon as you click it it closes, and then pops back up.. over and over.. Even though the OSD is turned off... And while its doing this if I try and click and drag the main precision window around i can only move it a few pixels before focus is lost on the window..

the only way ive been able to stop it is to close precision down and then reopen it

pretty annoying to say the least, the previous version did not do this at all

*edit*

so i decided to try a reinstall again.. and now it doesnt even want to start after booting.. the task is present and it even says the task completed successfully, but precision does not open :-(

anyone have this problem:

it seems I'm using nearly 4 terabytes of Vram, and I'm just guessing that's not accurate.
