Maybe a Pair of EVGA GTX 1080 in your Future, make sure you check around I found then cheaper on B&H and Free Shipping.



Unfortunately that is definitely out of the budget.  At most I would be adding a 1070...

Seems like the 1070 is the best bang for your buck right now. I only got a 1080 for gaming. Folding is a sweet bonus though.

they are just about as good as the 1070 for performance per dollar spent.

Even the 3gb cards? I thought that was only true about the 6gb 1060's. Either way, less power consumption than my 970's. I was thinking the "short bus" single fans, not sure how noisey the fan would be though.

the 6GB are worse because of the price. you pay $50 more, 25% more, for a handful more cuda cores and more ram. you only loose about 10% in F@H performance so its performance per dollar is higher.
