Their website states it just the stats server and not the folding itself that is affected. Unless you are referring to "if a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it did it ever really fall.." haha    In that case...my computer is just a space heater right now

my computer heats the whole house lol,, no joke my house sits around 60-65f no heaters,, my computer is putting my house around 70ish

Mine too..I could probably hang clothes to  dry on it when it's folding also ...normally I feel no heat coming off but it's fun to FOLD for a good cause for a bit! Although some of these guys make me want to get a couple Titan X(p)s. (Folding envy)

If all the backlogged points are credited on the same day, we're going to have a daily output record that stands for quite a while.  Of course it would need an asterisk by it, but people always forget about the asterisks...

That would be something to see......

Update from Anton Thynell:   Re: Stats System Outage

by Anton Thynell » Fri Nov 11, 2016

Fah-web.stanford.edu is still down, Stanford IT is working on it.

We have moved the donor, team and os stats to a new server.

previously:
http://fah-web.stanford.e...ain.py?qtype=userstats
http://fah-web.stanford.e...ain.py?qtype=teamstats
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=osstats2

is now:
http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/donors
http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/teams
http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/os

I don't think this will work for Drougnor and our Contest Stats, because there are still no flat files available.
And it looks like they are having a big problem with the server.

Edit: This update is also posted on the Blog:   Stats System is up and running under a new url

"Our http://fah-web.stanford.edu/ is still down and Stanford IT is working on it which means that our resources on that page are still unavailable.
Thank you for your patients.
FAH team"

Ok, so are we helping patients or making more patients?  OR Our patience is appreciated? Have to love the English language...................

Thanks Dutchforce.
At least we are able to find how many points we got during the blackout.

Wonder how long it will take before EOC adjusts?

Of course they changed the address . . . . I'm trying to get my system at home working so I can insert the address into the code remotely. *laughs*

I'm fiddling around with the redirected address and am not finding the flat files, so I think they only updated the dynamic pages for personal lookups. I'm gonna keep picking at the edges, tho, to see if I trip over something.

Ok, I'm thinking we push the finish line out to 700M in the hope that we get to WATCH the crossovers happen.  What do you all think?

d

What do you guys think?

I say push it - I know some folks were set to throttle back around now but this server thing is a real bust!

Any other time would have been ok but we are all going to exceed the 600 so I can't talk smack. And I wanted some payback after being on the losing team last year!!
Set up a way to vote if you can - or make an executive decision. I am fine with your choice.
