Ok if that still works then your new win10 will be linked to your motherboard from here on out. All you'll need to do before you reinstall windows in the future would be to create a Microsoft account. Once you do that thextra new win10 upgrade key will be linked to the new mb and your user name on the account. No win10 key needed to input as it will activate once you have Internet access automaticly.
Also there's a way on ms website to download win10 media creation disk that you have the option to install on a disk or on a USB flash drive to install fresh later on if needed. I actually liked the fresh install method best. For me I had 0 issues doing that way over I stalling the newest windows version update "win10 anniversary build 1607". Only took a few mins installing from a 8gb usb flash drive.
Though you should try the upgrade first since it's free and you don't loose anything from your current install. Would just want the newest Drivers from asus Web site for Windows 10 for everything on the mb like chipset, nic, sata, sound ext. And grab the newest version win10 drivers for your Nvidia cards.. haver all that handy in a folder saved on your hard drive first so you can install those after first boot on win10. Install the chipset first.
