I actually meant the power cables from the PSU to components as opposed to the lead to the outlet.

after gaming in GTA 5 for 1 hour + monitoring Voltages + Temps + load etc... it's kinda strange.
PSU delivering power solid like a ROCK... and i mean on all rails... better then my old HX650w that fluctuated in V12 and so on. this PSU is very solid.(actually amazed by it's performance VS HX650w)
going to monitor this issue further and see what is going on in time. don't really like to RMA my new GPU yet.

Where is that clicking noise coming from? Is it from the PSU?

well, sadly there is no way to know.
even though PC is right beside me i can't really know were this click is coming from.
i can't listen and play at the same time... and even if i could i need to put my ear to GPU and play or to PSU and play. not really possible.

Very strange indeed... updated drivers and played all day along.
no restarts, no shutdowns.
i guess it was a driver ?

Things working fine, will update this thread if things go south in the future.

Glad it's now running stable, but I would try a different GPU if it starts again - if you have one (since you've pretty much switched out everything else thus eliminating them).

That's one reason I keep a lot of spare parts around - for trouble shooting.  I keep a working Corsair TX650 PSU, a single DIMM of working Corsair DDR4 and one of Kingston DDR3, and an old GTX 550 that I know works.  Helps to narrow issues down.

Here's to keeping finger's crossed.  Your new rig looks great BTW - but I'm a little biased, I have that same mobo and CPU, and a SeaSonic PSU.

For some time things worked alright...
Today computer shuts down mid game and won't start again.

After checking things out...
Pc wont start with gpu inside. Without its powering on with no problem.

After swapping gtx 1080 for an older gpu, pc working fine.
As soon as I put in 1080 pc won't power on.
Tried it In other pc and it's the same.
I wonder, is there a protection of some kind that prevents my pc from starting.. Can it really be the gpu?and if it is... How can I be sure for 100%?

Its brand new gpu :(
