Just be aware that loading an unapproved bios is grounds for a warranty to be denied. Brick in your card with an unapproved bios may warrant you the world most expensive paperweight. Use with caution.



Good thing there is a dual bios switch.

Until you look at all of the reference boards that may try this without a dual bios... But, whose looking anyway?

I'd never have tried this bios if I didn't have some kind of back up. Or if Evga would supply an unlocked bios, but noooo.

The issue with a "back up" on a single bios card is that the user may have no way of re flashing if they brick the card.

They should not be flashing a bios this risky if the first place. But i think ill go back to the old vbios soon.

I have the asus gtx 1080 strix OC version and I've never seen it get passed 1.09vcore. Crazy how you take my bios, put it in evga card and magically get 1.2vcore?

Pretty nice.. and isint that why evga put dual bios with a switch so users can customize there bios without fear of issues of a bad flash?

Granted one can damage there card and evga would know what's up if you return the card with a custom bios on it when you send it in.
